REQUIREMENTS
To achieve Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) status, you must:
- Hold a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. (Earning your A-CSPO automatically renews your CSPO).
- Demonstrate at least 12 months of experience in a Product Owner role within the past five years.
- Complete an A-CSPO training from a Scrum Alliance-approved education provider (like Platinum Edge!).
- Fulfill all course components, including any pre- or post-course work required by your instructor.
- Agree to the certification terms and update your Scrum Alliance membership profile.
- Maintain an active certification by earning Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and renewing your certification every two years.
Your certification remains valid for two years. After that, you’ll need to earn Scrum Education Units (SEUs) to renew and maintain an active certification.
